He works closely with governmental agencies to determine that members' interests are represented in existing and proposed regulations, and to inform them of changes and appropriate responses to those regulations. Prior to NCHA, he worked as planning coordinator at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem; project analyst in the CON section of the Division of Facility Services; regional director of MedTherapy Rehabilitation Services in Hickory; and executive director of Rutherford Nursing Center in Rutherfordton. Mike has a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and a master's degree in healthcare administration from the Medical College of Virginia. He also is a licensed nursing home administrator. |
