NCHS approves first ICD-10 codes for human trafficking abuse

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics has released the first ICD-10-CM codes for classifying human trafficking abuse. The 29 human trafficking-related codes were included in the ICD-10-CM updates for fiscal year 2019.
