Protocols, Standing Orders, Order Sets, & Preprinted Orders: Cracking the Code to the CMS Hospital CoP and TJC Requirements
This Oct. 23 program will cover the interpretive guidelines and regulations required by CMS related to standing orders, protocols, order sets, and preprinted orders. Regarding standing orders, Tag 457 will be discussed, including the four separate sections in the hospital Conditions of Participation (CoP) manual which regulate this issue, including the requirements that have been moved from Tag 405 to Tag 457.Details and registration here.

CMS Hospital CoP and TJC Telemedicine Standards: Telemedicine Credentialing and Privileging
CMS has conditions of participation (CoPs) interpretive guidelines for all hospitals regarding their telemedicine standards. The regulations and interpretive guidelines also impact hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission (TJC).
