John William “Bill” Moffitt passed away Oct. 31. Moffitt’s healthcare career spanned 59 years, first with the Hospital Savings Association (now Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC), and later as a consultant for PhyAmerica and related companies. NCHA recognized Moffitt with its Distinguished Service Award in 1983. The staff at NCHA express sympathy to the Moffitt Family. Read the obituary here.
