In case you missed it, here are some recent CEO changes announced in the daily NCHA NewsLinks:

Debra Hernandez was named president of Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville. She has worked In the healthcare Industry for more than 35 years, including roles at WakeMed Health & Hospitals, Wayne Memorial Hospital and Duke University Health System.

Vidant Health also recently announced that Judy Bruno has been named as the next president ofVidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, effective Nov. 26. Bruno has more than 25 years of healthcare experience and most recently provided strategic leadership and guidance at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital as the vice president of Patient Care Services.

Former Atrium Health CEO Michael Tarwater will be a senior adviser and board member of the nonprofit The Leon Levine Foundation, starting next year. Tarwater spent 14 years as Atrium’s CEO, and a total of 35 years at the hospital system, which was then Carolinas HealthCare System. The Leon Levine Foundation gives grants to organizations with missions related to health care, education, Jewish values and human services.
