The American Hospital Association will present its 2018 Rural Hospital Leadership Award to Ronnie Sloan, president of The Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head, at its Rural Health Care Leadership Conference in February. The award recognizes small or rural hospital leaders who guide their organization and community through transformational change, and display outstanding leadership and commitment to improving health and health coverage and making care more affordable.
