Deadline for Voluntary Hospital Readmissions Measure Extended to Jan. 4

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has extended to Jan. 4 the deadline for hospitals and their vendors to voluntarily submit data for the hybrid hospital-wide readmissions measure to the inpatient quality reporting program. Hospitals should submit the measure data for discharges between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2018 to the QualityNet secure portal.
