HHS Updates Decontamination Guidance for Chemical Incidents

The US Department of Health and Human Services has updated its guidance to help communities prepare for and respond to chemical incidents requiring mass decontamination. The updated guidance introduces a faster and more effective protocol for treating chemically contaminated patients, and includes a decision-support tool to help responders determine the best decontamination approach in a given situation, the agency said.
