Rural Counts Policy Luncheons in May

Join rural advocates from across the state to learn how you can have a direct impact on state policy this year. The NC Rural Center is hosting six Rural Counts policy luncheons across the state to share regional updates on what’s happening in the General Assembly and what you can do to advance important legislation in the areas of broadband, health, small business, and more. This series is uniquely designed to provide rural advocates and leaders with the information necessary to become effective champions for smart economic policies benefiting rural North Carolina. The first lunch is Tuesday, May 7 in Laurinburg. More dates, details and registration are online here.
