NCHA Thanks NCDHHS Secretary Dr. Mandy Cohen and Congratulates Kody Kinsley

Cary, NC – November 30, 2021 – The North Carolina Healthcare Association (NCHA) is immensely grateful for the work that Dr. Mandy Cohen took on during her tenure as Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Her poise, leadership, knowledge, and partnership made a difference as we faced an unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and transitioned to Medicaid Managed Care. We believe that our work together during the pandemic prevented North Carolina from being overwhelmed and it saved lives. While the battle against COVID-19 is far from over, we are eternally grateful for Dr. Cohen’s contributions to the state as she worked tirelessly to be a champion for all North Carolinians. We look forward to working with Kody Kinsley as he assumes his new role as NCDHHS secretary in January, and we congratulate him on his new responsibility to lead our state through the rest of the pandemic and onward to further improve the health, safety, and well-being of all who call North Carolina home.
