Community crisis plans

Each LME/MCO will create a community crisis services plan, which will identify the following: 1) site(s) for the first examination and health screening; 2) trainings available, such as de-escalation strategies, for agencies listed in the transportation agreement; 3) transportation agreements adopted by cities and counties. LME/MCOs will have multiple plans for their catchment area to take into consideration local resources and stakeholders. Stakeholders must be included in the development of the plans and all parties listed in the local plans must agree prior to the adoption of the crisis plan. Crisis plans are effective October 1, 2019.
