Health screening

An appropriate screening suitable for the symptoms presented and to determine if an emergency medical condition exists. The health screen will be performed by the commitment examiner or other individual who is deemed qualified by the facility. The health screen tool will be developed by DHHS with input from commitment examiners professionals. The health screen is effective October 1, 2019.
