Mental Health Policy and Access Committee (MHPAC)
As hospitals and emergency departments continue to be on the front line of the mental health crisis, hospitals are committed to supporting policies that make it easier for patients to get the care they need when they need it. MHPAC is a multidisciplinary group of hospital leaders who are responsible for the delivery and coordination of mental health services. This policy committee develops approaches to improve access to mental health care while ensuring hospitals continue to have the resources they need to provide high-quality care.
Transitions of Care Committee
The Transitions of Care Committee brings together case management leaders statewide to identify the drivers of delayed discharges and develop policy solutions that improve patient flow and support safe, effective care transitions. The committee focuses on optimizing throughputs for all patients, including those with complex care needs and certain payer populations, such as Medicaid Managed Care, to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time and in the right place.
Rehab Affinity Group
Comprised of member representatives with rehabilitation facilities, the group engages in peer-to-peer information sharing of best practices for rehabilitation facilities, as well as regulatory and legislative issues as necessary.
