Education, Project Coordinator

The North Carolina Healthcare Association is seeking a full-time Education Project Coordinator.

NCHA Education Services is a Member Services Department that provides conferences, event and webinar offerings for member hospitals and health systems.

This role supports negotiated venue contracts to ensure the success of NCHA events and handle registration logistics for education meetings and special events. Develop and improve relationships with fellow Hospital Association and partner organizations and maintains excellent member and sponsor relations; manage website updates for Education Services and suggest process improvements within the Education Services Department.

Program Manager, Population Health

The Program Manager, Population Health is responsible for providing technical assistance, coaching, and facilitated learning opportunities in support of community-based health improvement efforts across North Carolina, specific to NCHF’s Access to Care initiatives inclusive of AccessHealth. AccessHealth NC includes 18 community-based networks of care across the state providing access to coordinated primary and specialty healthcare services for the low-income, uninsured population. The Program Manager will have experience in both hospital and community-based settings for supporting access to care for vulnerable populations. The Program Manager will also understand how to create inclusive spaces for collaboration and consensus building to engage various sectors in community change efforts. 

This position is grant funded and will be reviewed annually based on funding availability.

Vice President, Communications and Public Relations

The North Carolina Healthcare Association is seeking a full-time Vice President, Communications and Public Relations who is responsible for planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of communications, media relations, and digital strategies for the NCHA enterprise and on behalf of membership and the field. Works directly with the CEO and with the leadership team to ensure that all marketing and communications initiatives are aligned and support strategic goals of enterprise. Works to build and implement integrated plans and campaigns to increase awareness of NCHA priority issues across key stakeholder audiences. Directs the creation of content for the public website and social media and oversees development and production of member resources and communications, also contributing communications counsel and production support to member events such as annual meetings. Serves as spokesperson and primary point of contact for media relations on behalf of the organization.

This position manages and supervises various activities and employees within these departments and business subsidiaries, which includes aligning staff talents with strategy and structure, delegating and managing assignments, coaching regularly for successful performance, providing performance feedback, and recruiting and training new hires.
