Equity Learning Community
Now is your chance to help transform North Carolina into a state where high-quality healthcare is equitable and accessible for everyone. Join us for the launch of a year-long learning community, supported by the North Carolina Healthcare Foundation, designed to bring together NCHA member hospitals to focus on integrating equity into performance improvement.
Why should you join?
- This program supports compliance to current and future regulatory requirements around equity through programming and shared learning
- Provides access to local, state, and national equity leaders.
- The community is facilitated in partnership with Impact4Health, one of three organizations nationwide named by the American Hospital Association as Equity Transformation Partners.
FAQs about the opportunity
- There is no cost for a hospital to participate.
- The community will convene twice quarterly for 12 months, learning and sharing around topics participants identify as needs. These sessions will be facilitated by subject matter experts with a very heavy focus on practical approaches to implement evidence-based, best practices when integrating equity into performance improvement.
- There are no data submission requirements except completion of surveys to assess needs.
- A quadrad from each participating organization will be asked to participate as a team: leaders and influencers at the hospital level in 1) quality/performance improvement, 2) diversity/equity, 3) patient-family engagement, and 4) community relations.
